VAUXHALL VECTRA BREEZE 1.9 CDTi 16v 2005 DIESEL AUTOMATIC

  
This listing is for a 2005 Vauxhall Vectra breeze. It is a 1.9 diesel automatic and silver in colour with a slight bluish tinge. Mileage at its previous MOT in May 2017 was put down as'unreadable' because the dash wasn't lit due to an electrical fault. The car sat unmoved for about four months until earlier this month when it was powered back up and driven about three hundred miles. I have little experience of driving it myself so I can only tell you that it runs, steers easily and brakes well. All the lights work as does the stereo and the seats are comfortable but that's about all I checked and so all I can tell you. The car belonged to my father in law and he only really drove it to the shops and back so although it starts the battery could do with a charge. There is a leak somewhere - I found that the carpet in the passenger footwell was damp. I have put a dehumidifier in the car for a while and it is all dry now, but obviously water was getting in somehow - door seal perhaps but I don't know. Interior electrics seem to work fine - I checked the mirrors, windows, door locking safety functions and they all seemed fine.

The heater blower is good but only has two settings - on & off. The only other thing I can comment on is the bodywork - no rust and no enormous dents etc. But it has been scraped quite a few times and so I wouldn't call the bodywork great. BTW there is a spare wheel with the hardware to secure it in the well in the boot, I just took them out for the photo to show that the boot area metal is sound.

This car is a no return. I offer no guarantees other than it is a runner and can be driven away. It is now simply not required and hopefully someone else can do something with it. Like I say, hopefully it is good for many more miles but will no doubt need some work to assure this.
