Once fitted, our tuning modules aim to give you more usable power and much more available torque. As a by-product of this, your turbo lag will be greatly reduced making the car much nicer to drive. The additional torque also allows the car to pull better at low revs which means that you can be in a higher gear more of the time, reducing fuel consumption by up to 15%. The additional torque will be of great assistance if you tow a trailer or caravan.

Programmed with engine specific maps, these digital microprocessor units are manufactured by Bluespark Automotive in the UK under their CR Tech brand. The CR tech unit has been replaced by the upgraded CR Tech 2 so once this stock is gone, it's gone. Depending on your engines capabilities our tuning boxes can increase power and torque by up to 30%. If you use the extra power and drive faster naturally the economy benefits will be lessened. Most installations will take no more than 10 minutes.

The rail sensor will be located at the top of the engine and can be accessed by removing the engine cover. There are some engines that are a bit more time consuming.

The video below shows an example of installation of a Bluespark tuning box, please note, most of our installation videos show the installation of a Bluespark Pro+Boost unit which connects to the rail and boost sensors, CR Tech units connect to the rail sensor only.

We offer free installation on most vehicles at our depot in Houghton-le-spring, DH4 5RJ. Fortunately unlike a remap our products are 100% removable without a trace of fitting.

Once you have placed and order, you will need to supply your vehicle details. The units we sell are mapped specifically to your engine and these details will enable us to supply the correct maps, connectors and instructions. The following details are required.
