Vauxhall vectra 07 plate 1.9 cdti diesel

  
This car has been used as a family car for the past 2 years. It has never given us any problems in that time. Has recently been serviced and has 10 months mot on it. It passed with only 2 advisories. My partner put dimpled and grooved mintex brake disks on the car when we bought it and all new brake pads. It has tinted rear windows and has been looked after. There are some minor scratches on the body work but nothing you wouldn't expect from a car that's 9 years old. As you can see in the picture the engine warning light is on.

We had the car down to our local garage and had it plugged in to the diagnostics computer. The mechanic told us that it needed a new egr valve.

The car sometimes drives slowly and then after a while picks up again. The mechanic said that this was also because of the egr valve and a new one would stop that from happening. Trying to be as honest as possible about it. Driving the car as it is will not make the problem any worse or cause any damage I have been told. Space saving spare tyre and Jack etc all there in the boot compartment. Please message me with any questions or if you would like to come and see it.
